Welcome to Naptown Roller Derby (NRD), where the heart of flat track roller derby beats strong in the city of Indianapolis! ❤️🖤 Our league boasts two fiercely competitive travel teams and two epic home teams. Our competitive teams are the Tornado Sirens and the Warning Bells. Our home teams are aptly named Parks & Wreckers and Monumental Mayhem.

Since our inception in 2006, our Tornado Sirens have made waves on the international stage, clinching playoff spots and championships with the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) multiple times. Notably, they brought home the bronze medal in the WFTDA Division II championships in 2015 and 2017, showcasing our dedication and skill on a global scale. Currently, our A level team, the Tornado Sirens, proudly holds the #76 spot in the WFTDA Northeast region.

At NRD, we're more than just a league; we're a community united by our love for the sport and our commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. As proud members of WFTDA, we stand alongside over 400 roller derby leagues worldwide in revitalizing this dynamic full-contact sport. Owned and operated by our skaters, we're on a mission to empower amateur athletes, nurture a tight-knit and inclusive community, and celebrate the diverse talents of skaters, volunteers, referees, non-skating officials, sponsors, and fans alike.

Our journey began in a church parking lot, where a group of passionate individuals came together under the banner of Naptown Roller Girls. In 2016, we evolved into Naptown Roller Derby, marking a new chapter in our story. We currently strive to secure our 501(c)(3) designation. From competitive bouts and tournaments to family-friendly public matches that draw crowds of hundreds, our teams hit the track with determination, camaraderie, and a spirit that's uniquely Naptown.

Welcome to our world—where daring meets community, and the roller derby revolution rolls on!
