Your Sirens ended the home season with a few bruises and bangs and solid 90-54 win over the awesome and hard hitting Dixie Derby All Stars.

It was an action packed game from start to finish with Dixie jammers Cha Chee and C.U. Afterclass racking up points for Dixie only to be answered by Jane Ire and Shadi Layne for Naptown. Slammy Faye and Fin Addict came in to round out the points. And we shouldn’t forget the impressive job by pivot Cereal Killer when the “Jammerless Jam” occured as both jammers fouled out.

It was a solid blocking game too. Dixie’s Bama Bruiser, Lola Pirannha, Hell Razor and Asian Invasion put some serious hurtin’ on our jammers. Our own Sweet C, Touretta Lynn and Cereal Killer barely let anyone through the front as 4 Leaf Cleaver, Mizz Understood, Joan of Dark, Sin Lizzie and Diane Beatin’ put the hits on. Kitiara and Ana Slays worked with their pivots to contain everytime a Dixie Jammer came through.

It was a great way to end our 2nd home season. With a solid and stellar group of volunteers and 6 refs that kept it tight and most of all – moving along, we couldn’t be going out with a bigger high. Thank you to all of you.

And, to our fans, there are none other like you in all of derby. We are the luckiest rollergirls on the planet.
