Help us celebrate our Fifth Fringe and kick off the festival with the Fringe Opening Night Parade down Mass Ave. The parade will start from two locations – Davlin Park (outside Starbucks) on Mass Ave and the Earth House on East – then converge at the intersection of
Mass Ave and East and unite for an even louder, raucous and colorful journey to the Outdoor Tent. The parade will be led by the Refried Fringe – Indy’s new Radical Marching
Band. IndyFringe performers and local groups will add to the mayhem!

But this is not a parade to watch idly from the sidelines; join in from Earth House or your favorite Mass Ave spot and follow us down to the Opening Night Party at the Outdoor Tent (corner of Mass Ave and College). Prizes for the Fringiest and Most Outrageous outfits!
At the Opening Night Party, enjoy a FREE preview of the 2009 shows. Each group must entice viewers in 3 minutes or get gonged. Afterwards, mingle with performers while
enjoying the sitar sounds of the Playboy Psychonauts. You don’t want to miss this high-energy celebration!
