Ribbons & Blows – NRG Double Header vs Burning River (Cleveland, OH)
Naptown Roller Girls presents the second bout of season 4, and you get two derby bouts in one action-packed night! NRG’s Warning Belles will kick off the evening with the first bout against Cleveland’s Team B. The second half of the night will feature NRG’s leading ladies, the Tornado Sirens, playing against Burning River Rollergirls All Stars from Cleveland, Ohio.
But wait… We have a “VISITOR” …
Indiana’s own, Logan Huffman, who stars as Tyler on ABC’s latest television series, V, is not only coming to our Dec. 5 bout, but he has volunteered to help our ladies skate their way to victory! Huffman will be sitting behind the bench for both the Warning Belles and the Tornado Sirens and serving as the teams’ very own water boy! We’re not exactly sure of all he’ll be doing yet, but we certainly aren’t going to complain about a handsome rising star delivering cool refreshments to us during our fast-paced games!
Fans are invited to meet Logan (and get his autograph) as well as the girls at the designated autograph table after the second bout. (Be warned, you may be fighting off other roller girls to get Logan’s attention.)
And, because the Naptown Roller Girls are getting what we wanted for Christmas (see above note on that rising star water boy announcement)… we want to help others get what they want, too!
NRG has chosen the WRTV Channel 6 Toy Drive as our December charitable partner. At the Dec. 5 bout, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to be donated to those in need. Fans who bring a toy donation will receive small goodies such as NRG stickers, tattoos and pins at the door as our way of saying thanks. Your support of this worthy cause is greatly appreciated! Also, our awesome sponsor, PDA will have custom NRG shirts for sale at their table for only $10! ALL of the proceeds from this sale will go to the WRTV Toy Drive. Be sure to pick up your own limited edition shirt from them while they’re still available!
